Poster 316: Increased tibiofemoral rotation angle is associated with graft failure after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction

Objectives: Coronal and sagittal malalignment of the knee are well-recognized risk factors for failure after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR). However, effect axial on ACLR graft survival is yet to be determined. This study aimed evaluate whether increased tibiofemoral rotational malalignment, namely rotation angle (TFA) tibial tubercle-trochlear groove (TT-TG) distance, associated with failure. Methods: In this matched-control study, 151 patients who underwent revision due (failure group) were compared a group primary no evidence at least 2-years follow-up (intact group). Patients matched by sex, age, meniscal injury during ACLR. Axial was assessed preoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) through TFA TT-TG distance. Sagittal alignment measured posterior slope (PTS) MRI. Optimal cutoff identified receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Kaplan-Meier curve log-rank analysis performed influence longevity.
